Extended search functionality for new custom built modules

hii joe,

I have been developing new feature for my site, everything is going fine except search functionality. It search only the content of inbuilt modules, not the custom developed modules. How to extend existing search functionality to meet this requirement.

Please help me.

Waiting for your quick reply.

Thanks

Priya
