Re: gravtar image

Hi,

You can not edit the statistics, they are calculated.

You can disable gravatars by setting this to false in Web.config or user.config:

<add key="AllowGravatars" value="true" />

Hope it helps,

Joe

Re: gravtar image

Hi,

I have disabled gravatars but the gravatar box still appears in the user profile section (with a scroll box with the value "none" in it).

Is there a way to remove it altogether from the user profile section?

Many thanks,

Leah

Re: gravtar image

When you disable gravatar it falls back to our cheesy old avatar system. I will add a config option to disable this one too. I've put it on my to do for the next release.

Best,

Joe

Re: gravtar image

I've completed the new setting to disable the old avatar, so it will be fixed in the next release. In fact the default will be to disable the old avatar system.

Gravatar is enabled by default but if you disable it, it will not fall back to the old one unless it is enabled. This will be in the next release.

Best,

Joe

Re: gravtar image

Super, thanks Joe. I am going to try to upgrade to 2.2.8.0 now as my site has just gone down with a "System.OutOfMemoryException" error, hopefully an upgrade will resolve it. Have a very merry Christmas and all the best for 2009!
