MojoPortal On Ubuntu

Hi,

I have installed dotnet runtime on my Ubuntu machine; downloaded mojoportal and postgresql; Setup the postgres db and user. However, navigating to mysite.com/Setup/Default.aspx doesn't fill in the database. What am I missing?

Thanks.

Re: MojoPortal On Ubuntu

I have also setup the user.config file according to the installation instructions. When I go to mysite.com/Setup/Default.aspx I get the following: <%@ Page Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="false" EnableSessionState="False" CodeBehind="Default.aspx.cs" Inherits="mojoPortal.Web.UI.Pages.SetupHome" %>

Re: MojoPortal On Ubuntu

Hello,

mojoPortal is an ASP.Net WebForms project so it isn't supported on linux.

We have plans to migrate to .net 7 but we aren't ready to do so, yet. Primarily it's a time thing so if anyone would like to join the team to help migrate mojoPortal to .net 7, please give me a shout!

Thanks,
Joe
