Event Calendar Pro & Search

Hi all

We have been using Event Calendar Pro for many years, therefore have hundreds of entries.

When staff are searching our intranet, they are getting search results from the Calendar from years ago that are not relevant.

Is the only option to remove Calendar from the Search criteria? If so, where do I do this? Can you think of anything else where we can selectively remove entries from a specific period?

I block the whole calendar from being crawled. Often the spiders go on forever indexing otherwise. What I'll then do if I need events searched is place a feed on a hidden page which can be indexed. You need some control over the search spider to do this, but I think it's the best option for now.

We have a fix in development now for this to allow you to prune old records from event calendar pro.

We're hoping to make a mojo release real soon and I know we've been saying that for a while. We have the MSSQL release feature complete and it's been running for a long time on production sites. We just need to get the mysql, pgsql, and sqlite releases updated.
