Re: mojoportal hosted by apache on a windows system works.

One of my friends is now running mojoportal with the above configuration.  (At least until mono works, then we're switching to linux.  Windows is such a pain to administrate remotely!)

He's still learning how to post content, so there isn't much there yet.   I've put Joe's copyright on the bottom but added my own because there are some custom modules for the employees to view data off their linux server remotely.  The modules are custom to that company and aren't really helpful to anyone else.

Re: mojoportal hosted by apache on a windows system works.

Theres no need to list me as the copyright owner. A "powered by mojoportal" or "based on mojoportal" link is always appreciated but not required either.

The designer who licensed the web design (that the skin is based on) does request a link to their site under the Creative Commons license so I include them in the skin. Of course I have no control over whether an end users remove the link, I'd say the more you have changed the design through customization this link to the designer requirement may get fuzzy, you'll have to make your own judgement on that one.

Best,

Joe

Re: mojoportal hosted by apache on a windows system works.

I just noticed this part: " Powered by clPortal 2.00.00" , guess I wasn't paying attention. If you're going to rebrand it I do request you indicate it is based on mojoportal rather than listing me directly. Usually a copyright notice on the bottom of the web site is about the web content not the software, so normally it would be copyright by content author.

A "Powered By" link is not required at all, but if you put one that says powered by something other than mojoportal you should indicate its based on mojoportal.

Best,

Joe
