"DefaultContentHtmlTitle" in search results breadcrumb

Hi,

My home page HTML content "Feature Instance Title" has long since been changed from the default, but the search results show a breadcrumb heading of "Home > Welcome > DefaultContentHtmlTitle" for text in this HTML Feature Instance.

I have deleted the files from Web/Data/Sites/1/index to force a re-index, but "DefaultContentHtmlTitle" still appears.

This may be me doing something silly, but I can't see anything that's configured to have the name "DefaultContentHtmlTitle".

Kind regards,

Kenny

Re: "DefaultContentHtmlTitle" in search results breadcrumb

I'll look into this later today, I'm warpped up a the moment, but one clue I can think of if you want to look into it further now is that "DefaultContentHtmlTitle", is a key for the App_GlobalResources/Resource.resx file for default content when creating a new site. The value associated with that key is "Welcome".

So it looks like possibly a bug if it is using that instead of the module title when indexing content.

Best,

Joe

Re: "DefaultContentHtmlTitle" in search results breadcrumb

Ok, I figured it out. There is a minor bug there but you can easily resolve it.

Click the gear icon next to the content title to get to module settings for the Html module.

Check the box that says "Use Multiple Items" save then you will see the title "DefaultContentHtmlTitle", click the pencil to edit and clear out that title.

Now go back into the gears - module settings and uncheck the use multiple items.

I will look into fixing the underlying bug.

Thanks,

Joe
