Azure Deployment

Attempting to lift an existing site deployed with Mojoportal into azure.

The documentation appears to predate the current portal interfaces and options. Are there newer documents that I am just missing on moving an environment into Azure?

What is the best method of moving the existing DB moved into SQL Azure?

Attempting to deploy the db to SQL azure using SQl 2016 seems  to throw Schema errors and fails. Is there a better way to move an existing site db into SQL azure?

Thank you.

Re: Azure Deployment

Hello,

Our Azure documentation is out-of-date. We've added it to our to-do list.

Have you tried using the "Deploy Database to SQL Azure" option in SSMS?

Thank you,
Joe

Re: Azure Deployment

Joe,

Thank you, Yes that is what I am trying to do. Using the deploy database to Microsoft Azure SQL database I receive schema errors.

I suspect that if I were to install a clean install of Mojo Portal and let the scripts run to setup the db that would be fine but I need to move an existing site over...

David
