Timeout expired during installation

Hello,

I downloaded the mojoPortal-2-2-5-1 release version. I changed the DB information. I'm getting this answer:

Probing system...
File system permissions ok.
MSSQL database connection ok.
database permissions are sufficient to alter schema.
database initial schema needs to be created.
Running script mojoportal-core - 2.2.4.8 - 00:00:00.5156250
An Error Occurred:Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.

I'm trying to complete the installation on a Windows XP box with SQLServer 2005 express . I checked the database, and it creates tables and stored procedures, but I have no idea why this error happened. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Timeout expired during installation

Hi again,

I decided to run again the page (without making any changes), and this time I got this:

Probing system...
File system permissions ok.
MSSQL database connection ok.
database permissions are sufficient to alter schema.
database initial schema already exists.
database core schema needs upgrade.
0 site(s) found.
Running script mojoportal-core - 2.2.1.9 - 00:00:00.9531250

Note: This page shows some information that is helpful during setup and upgrades but for security it would be best not to show any information when the system is up to date. You can disable setup and suppress all information on this page by setting DisableSetup=true in Web.config. When you need to upgrade, you can set this back to false. If you are logged in as Administrator setup will run and you will be able to see this page even if it is disabled in Web.config so you can easily leave it disabled and just login before upgrading. But if you are not logged in you will need to enable setup in Web.config.

I don't know what else I can do at this point. Please help...

Re: Timeout expired during installation

Hi,

What I would do at this point is delete all the stored procedures then delete all the tables then visit the setup page again.

Hope it helps,

Joe

Re: Timeout expired during installation

Hi,

I dropped the database, created it again, restarted the computer, tried again and it worked. I really don't know what happen, but if someone out there happens to have this same issue, reseting the database and trying again is probably the way to go.

Thanks!
