I know this is possible for the newsletter, but just wondering if the same can be done for forum posts, as I have some users who like to click the wrong link every time, then blame the system. In my case the individuals are part of a small professional group collaborating on a project, so I don't think the anti-spam legislation applies.
you can find the template under /Data/MessageTemplates and try removing that, whether it will cause an error if you do that I don't know off the top of my head

removing the unsubscribe section from en-GB-ForumNotificationEmail-ForumOnly.config didn't cause any errors, and achieves just what I need.
