404 error after changing the name of a page

Hi,

I changed the name of a top level page and now when I click on the menu I get a 404 error page.

How can I fix this?

Re: 404 error after changing the name of a page

Your browser may have cached, or you may have inadvertently defined, a redirect to a page that doesn't exist. Watch carefully what happens in the address bar, and try same page in other browsers that have not been used on the site. You may need to remove mojo 301 redirects.

Re: 404 error after changing the name of a page

It was pointing to and old (deleted) page.  I could not get it to change to the correct page.  So I deleted the page and its associated pages and re created them from the DB.

It was a hassle and next time I'll try your suggestions before deletion.

Phill
