Site Settings Page CSS Location

When I go into the Site Settings, I get colors and styles that are completely different from the rest of the site.  No matter what skin I use, the colors and styles of the Site Settings page stay the same.  What CSS files control the styles for the Site Settings?

Thanks,

Perry

Re: Site Settings Page CSS Location

Hi Perry,

This is odd because the admin pages use the same CSS as the rest of the site. What version of mojo are you using?

Thanks,
Joe D.

Re: Site Settings Page CSS Location

Well, that's new enough that the site wouldn't be using the old YUI tabs on those pages. The tabs and the content within the tabs on those pages are usually styled by the jQueryUI theme chosen for the skin but if that content stays the same regardless of the chosen skin, someone has modified the skins to use the same jQueryUI theme or they are overriding what is being used in some other way.

Are the skins you are trying the skins which come with mojoPortal or are they custom skins? Would you mind sharing a link to the site?

Thanks,
Joe D.

Re: Site Settings Page CSS Location

Custom skin I developed using Artisteer.

www.maddiandspencers.com

Maybe I didn't follow the instructions for importing a skin from Artisteer properly.  I can give it another try.  Also, I did monkey with a prior skin trying to change the colors.  Maybe that is where I messed it up.

Re: Site Settings Page CSS Location

OK, I just installed a new clean install of mojoPortal on my laptop and it does the same thing.  No matter which of the included skins I uses, the site settings page is a kind of orange gold color scheme.  When I created my own skin using Artisteer, I followed the directions for exporting it to mojoPortal and one of the steps was to copy an existing skin to a new folder then copy the exported Artisteer files into the new folder.  Maybe the CSS for the site settings page never gets over written by the Artisteer files.

Just a thought.

Re: Site Settings Page CSS Location

What you are seeing is the jQueryUI Theme. Set this on portal:StyleSheetCombiner control in the layout.master of your skin. See the Styling jQuery Widgets page for more information.
