Asp.net roadmap?

Hi,

I'm a highly satisfied user of MojoPortal for several websites. And it makes me happy to see the fast speed you have been able to move from version 2.0 to 4.5 so far. I also know from several posts that it would be a difficult and maybe no-go task to move into MVC from WebForms.

Today I learned that the VS2015 will merge MVC and WebApi into to new options: Either a full asp.net 5.0 with all features present or a simpler asp.net 5.0 Core where you can add full features as and when needed. WebForms will be left as-is with no easy migration path. In other words you will have to do a very manual update/change to all webforms to move to e.g. asp.net 5.0 Core.

Do you already have considerations of the asp.net roadmap going forward or is this a too pre-mature question to ask?

Best regards

Lars
