Http 404 error on login

HI Joe,

I have a multisite installation of mojoportal based on folders. And i have only two users : an administrator and a content administrator. When the content administrator is logged in and I try  to access  to login in the same portal , the system don't load the login page but return an http404 error. Do you have any suggestion to resolve the problem?

Bye

Dario

Re: Http 404 error on login

Hi Dario,

Please clarify. Are you logging in as 2 different users from the same machine or is this a different machine that is logged in as content admin?

What version of mojopportal, what db, what platform?

Is multiple sites based on host name or folders?

When you mouse over the login link it is correct for the given site?

Re: Http 404 error on login

Hi,

I give you all the information that you need.

I've  mojoPortal-2.2.3.9  (on a server windows with mysql) . The installation contain three site (Multiple site based on folders)

mainportal installed on the root (http:\\192.168.1.201\)

              galportal map on folder /gal

              scsiportal map on /scsi

The scsiportal site have only two user :

                        1 I the administrator

                        2 A content Administrator

When the content Administrator is logged in the scsiportal, and I (the administrator) try to log in I can't see the login page. When I mouse over the login link i see this link http://192.168.1.201/scsi/Secure/Login.aspx

The two machine are different .

Re: Http 404 error on login

Hi Darius,

I will be making a new release sometime tomorrow. If the problem persists after upgrading let me know and I will try to simulate the situation here.

I would recommend using a host name instead of ip address but can't really think of a reason that would impact it.

Thanks,

Joe
