Automatically collapsing skin för mobiles

Hi!

I have crafted a new skin using Artisteer and mojoPortal Skin explorer.

The skin has a horizontal menu with one level only and then a vertical menu on the left.

When watching the site in lower resolution or on a mobile phone or if you shrink the browser window, the menus collapses automatically to a mobile skin style. There is an icon in place of the menu bar and the horizontal menu changes to a vertical on if you select the menu icon and the content panes gets stacked on top of each other.

I suppose this a great feature in some cases, but for my site it does not work very well. There are some pages with tables of fixed width that expand outside the visible area and the layout of some pages gets destroyed, so I don't want this feature.

I am not a fan of mobile skins and think modern phones today have so great displays that it is better to show the site in normal way.

So, how can I change this behaviour?

My old skin manually made from one of the old default skins (pre-artisteer) does not behave like this.

Watch to see what I mean.

Current site with old skin: www.haningebudoklubb.se
New site under development with new skin: new.haningebudoklubb.se

Re: Automatically collapsing skin för mobiles

Found it.

I have now learned a bit of this that is called responsive design.

Commenting out the following line from style.config did the trick.

<file>style.responsive.css</file>
