Help: Image not showing on Feed Manager

Hi there,

I am using feed manager to show the blog content from some outside source (external internet content).  The problem which is confusing me is that I could not show up the images from RSS feed ALTHOUGH I have already set "Allow external image" to "True" in the security setting of the feed manager.

When I check the source of the RSS feed, the images show there (http://www.heneerealestate.com/aggregator2033rss.aspx), however, The images disappeared when I come to the real site: http://www.heneerealestate.com/MyBlog.aspx .  There are some empty field in each blog which are supposed to have images shown there.  I am wondering if there is anyway we could have it solved?

I am using MojoPortal 2.4.0.0 by the way.

Thanks!

Re: Help: Image not showing on Feed Manager

Hi,

Because those image urls don't have a file extension that matches an image file format you will have to uncheck the box in security settings of feed manager

"Filter Invalid Markup and Potentially Dangerous Content From Feeds?"

Hope that helps,

Joe

Re: Help: Image not showing on Feed Manager

One more thing joe, sometimes the image in the RSS feed does not show is not because of mojoportal configuration setting but because the image is blocked by the sender part intentionally in order to only show internally.  Is there anyway we can remove the restriction and let image showing instead?

You can check the example of the link: http://www.heneerealestate.com/aggregator2033rss.aspx

Thanks again!
