Can any one please tell me how to change the menu in the blog
eg. it shows me blogname ,settings,add post,administration.
I want it to be blogname ,settings,add post,edit categories.

I have one more question how to hide submenu in administration menu like I want to hide the permission and few more tabs.

sorry but those things are not customizable.
note that permissions menu item is only visible to users that are in the admins role
there are some other things as well that are not visible to everyone but admins are going to see everything.
