HTML5 elements or attributes are missing on editing contents in CKEditor or TinyMCE editor

Hi,

When I use CKEditor or TinyMCE editor  to put contents in HtmlContent feature, it works fine for first time. But when I edit contents in HtmlContent feature using CKEditor or TinyMCE, the HTML5 attributes like 'data-start',data-speed,... are missing and the page get collapsed especially for slideshows using external plugins.

Is there any problem with html editors or some other thing that I'm missing?

How to overcome this issue?

Thanks in advance,

Rajeswari.

Both editors always try to format html to some degree. You best bet would be to the content editor to Text Area in the Site Settings under Administration or you if you look at the setting for the HTML instance you will see a checkbox, "Use WYSIWYG Editor?".  Uncheck that box and it will use the Text Area for that instance. That way you can set the raw html to your liking.

See this thread where this was previously reported for CKeditor, the thread has a solution to fix it or upgrading to the latest mojoPortal will also fix it.
