Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but I have been looking through the code and the other posts for over several hours now to try to find out how to remove the two big ads at the bottom of the home page.
I'm talking about the arvixe/mojoportal line and the artisteer "#1 web template generator" line.
Please can some kind person explain to me how to remove these items.
Its in the file:
Funny, but I spent quite a while looking at that file and could not "see it".
Now that I have taken a fresh look it is obvious!
I must be working too late at night!
Thanks for your help.
I made this change to the file on the running website, but nothing seems to have changed. Does this need to be recompiled before it will show up? I've refreshed the page and opened it in a different browser.
you must not be editing the correct file, skins used by the site are located under /Data/Sites/[SiteID]/skins/[skinname]
you probably edited a skin under /Data/skins which is just the catalog where skins come from when a new site is created
