Change contact form field to russian

Hello.
I changed the ContactFormResources.resx and rebuild project
After I upload the bin on mojoportal. All work but contact form give me error. The error say me that I need to ask here what the problem.
After I remove my bin and put back original I still got the error. After three times I got error 500. Hosting arvixe.
I dont need localization.
How can I change Filed You Name to Field Ваше Имя or NickName and see it on the site?

Re: Change contact form field to russian

You should not modify ContactResources.resx, if you want Russian localization then download our language-pack.zip from our codeplex download page and add the .ru.resx files, then you can either force Russian language by configuration, or by web browser preferences.

changes in .resx files do not require rebuilding in VS

are you using mojoPortal official deployment packages or source code? make sure you understand the difference and don't mix files from one to the other and don't re-compile our deployment files that are already compiled.

Thank You very match.

The <add key="site1culture" value="ru-RU" />
<add key="site1uiculture" value="ru-RU" />
was in quotations, after getting it to VS I fix the problem.

Re: Change contact form field to russian

Hi,

Thanks, I have fixed the typo.

The only truly official mojoPortal site is this one. There are mojoPortal community sites in other languages and I am aware of most of them and I have no problem with them since I cannot support other language communities myself and perhaps these sites are helpful for non-English speakers. So you can think of those other sites as kind of a loose affiliation but www.mojoportal.com is the official site of mojoPortal CMS and there is no business relationship between my company and those other sites.

Best,

Joe
