Apply a domain name to a folder based child site

Joe,

Is it possible to apply a domain name to a folder based child site?  For example I have my parent site at www.abc.com and a child site at www.abc.com/childsite  but I then want to give that child site a direct domain name without changing anything else, how do I do it?  I want it to be www.xyz.com that points to www.abc.com/childsite and only shows www.xyz.com in the address bar.

Thanks,

Scott

No it isn't possible, you can either use host name based multi sites without folders or you can use folder based child sites with a single domain. It sounds like you really want host name based multi sites so that each site is like a root level site with a different host/domain name.
