This is a forum to suggest new features for mojoPortal.
We put a lot of mojoPortal sites out and one of the biggest things clients ask for on their designs is a slider. This is in many guises and it's normally accomplished with some clever front end coding.
However, a simple slider would greatly, greatly benefit from a module of it's own.
The issue we find is that HTML content modules are fine, but the user can't manage them easily when there's a caption z-indexed over the top, along with a link: http://www.brmaintenance.co.uk/
This isn't an issue for us as we just dig into the HTML and set it up - however the clients really struggle with this and find themselves just not updating their site in this regard.
What would be great would be a module that allows you to upload an image, a caption and a link and output all the relevant classes for us to style.
I know we can achieve this with other modules, but it's always a little hacky and tough to maintain. When we have clients moving from something like Wordpress, where the interface is much simpler for sliders when using something like Royal Slider, it can pose a bit of a barrier for them.
I've logged this request in our project tracker with a link to this thread.
Thanks Joe, that's great.

I've been thinking about slider module like this for a while now and I have some thoughts and suggestions you might like to hear, email me if you would like to discuss this further.
