A colleague has pointed out that one of the advantages of a simple mailto link on a web page instead of the Contact Form is that the user automatically has a copy of the message they have sent. Valid point.

A useful enhancement to the Contact Form to achieve this would be to add a config property (feature setting) for "Send copy to user?".

Alternatively, this could be an option presented to the user in the UI, the visibility of which might in turn be configurable with a feature setting.
