I just created 2 new documentation pages under Creating Skins.

More Than 3 Content Panes? - explains a new feature with 2 optional content panes that can be used if needed.

Where is the Site Logo? - explains how/why some skins have a SiteLogo and an option to select it in Site Settings and some do not.
