Customize newsletter tokens

Hi.

I create a site in Russian. I use two tokens in my newsletter template: #unsubscribe# and #viewaswebpage#. When I send a test newsletter to my subscribers the token #viewaswebpage# is translated correctly but the token #unsubscribe# isn't translated, i.e. it is still displayed as #unsubscribe#.

Can I solve this problem myself? I would like also to change the translation of the token #viewaswebpage#.

And another question about newsletter: is it possible to add a field "name" into subscribe form?

Thanks,

Vlad.

Re: Customize newsletter tokens

The unsubscribe link text comes from Resource.ru.resx but has not been translated.

When anonymous users subscribe we don't have a database field to capture name, but site members that subscribe the name can come from the user profile. Tokens for these are discussed in Using the Newsletter.
