use features to build custom module?

use features to build custom module?

Hi,

I'm trying to develop a custom module in Visual Studio 2010

I want to modify some of the features  in source code and rename them and use as new module

but I dont know how to to do that in visual studio(I have programming knowledge but I dont know where should I copy?what should I copy? and other importent things)
