newsletter subscribtion

Hi, I have a website where I have more than 1 newsletter, and in the homepage I have the newsletter feature. I am facing a problem where if I try to subscribe without showing the newsletter to my users (without showing the checkboxes because the client asked me to hide it from them), it doesn't subscribe for all the newsletter... it just subscribes to one of them.  How can you subscribe to all of them without the option of showing all the newsletter of the site.

Regards.

Re: newsletter subscribtion

No, there is not a way to do that. If you want them to be able to opt in to more than one newsletter they have to have the checkboxes so the user can decide which ones he wants to opt into. It should be clear to the user if he is opting in to more than one newsletter, otherwise if he later unsubscribes to one of them he will think you are spamming him when he continues getting the other newsletters.

Re: newsletter subscribtion

Thanks for the answer Joe.

Is there a way to unsubscribe without going through the e-mail (through the site, for example?)

Thanks for your feedback

Re: newsletter subscribtion

it depends, if the user is registered on the site they can manage their subscriptions from their profile. But non members can only unsubscribe from  the newsletter unsubscribe link. Administrators can also unsubscribe anyone.
