Apply permissions changes to child pages

I have some sites with a lots of pages in hierarchies, and often we want to change viewing/editing rights for a whole "tree" of pages.  Am I right in thinking there's no quick way of doing this, other than visiting each page and changing security?

Could there be a check box on the security tab on page settings "Apply changes to child pages?"

This would only appear when the page has children.

This would be much appreciated!

Re: Apply permissions changes to child pages

I've already got a request for this in our project tracker. I'll see what I can do about moving it up the priority stack.

Best,

Joe

I've liked this feature too. and think it's very useful on big sites.
