using JSON

using JSON

Joe,

I was looking at using a funky little carousel from this link http://www.jcarousel.com/09/index.php .

It can be used loading files from source or via JSON data table. Looking into JSON it seems tyo be a fairly common used database alternative and was wondering if it is something that you may be looking to integrate to mojoportal at sometime.

I have seen a few other comments in these forums about it as well, so am not alone. It is probably just a nice to have or is it something that you feel should be left to individual development.

Hi,

I don't have any immediate plans to add a new way of using jcarousel with json, but you are certainly free to implement your own solution to meet your needs. Nothing prevents you from making a json file that points to your images and wiring it up from the source view in the html content feature or in layout.master of a skin for example.
