maintain web conf setting when upgrading

Hi Joe

I'm been using the user.config to set my site config etc.

The problem i have is i'm using the MS Chart control on my website control and the only place to set this up is in the web.config...

or have i got this wrong ?

I'v tried include the MS chart Control definitions in app.config... but it did not work

Re: maintain web conf setting when upgrading

Hi Lee,

T only things that can go in user.config are items from the <appSettings section of web.config that you want to override. Anything else has to be maintained directly in web.config, there is no way around it.

Hope that helps,

Joe
