A skin is just a folder with a set of files. You deploy the folder under /Data/Sites/[SiteID]/skins/

Then it will appear in the dropdown list of skins.

As Joe said, you need to put the skin folder in \Data\Sites\[SITE-ID]\skins. You put them in \Data\Skins which is not correct.

Yes, in your environment it sounds like the path should be \wwwroot\Data\Sites\1\skins

So your new skin would reside in the following directory:

\wwwroot\Data\Sites\1\skins\[skin_name]

I recommend you also copy at least one other skin: the folder and contents of \wwwroot\Data\skins\printerfriendly to \wwwroot\Data\Sites\1\skins\printerfriendly
