Website Errors

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can help me with fixing these errors I've been getting on my mojoPortal website.

I also have another issue regarding new members signing up on my website. Apparently, they are not getting confirmation e-mails. Any advice on how to fix this as well?

Re: Website Errors

You should upgrade to the latest version of mojoPortal and the latest version of Form Wizard Pro so that they depend on the same version of AjaxControlToolkit

Hope that helps,

Joe

Re: Website Errors

I should've put this link, but this is the information on my site's server.

http://www.parentjobnet.org/Admin/ServerInformation.aspx

So I should upgrade to 2.3.9.0?

Re: Website Errors

Yes, but you should also make sure you are running the latest version of Form Wizard Pro. Both mojoPortal core and Form Wizard Pro were recently updated to use the new version of AjaxControl toolkit therefore the latest version of Form Wizard Pro is only compatible with the latest version of mojoPortal and the latest version of mojoPortal is only compatible with the latest version of Form Wizard Pro. To be compatible they have to depend on the same version of AjaxControlToolkit, so whenver we update to a newer version of the toolkit in mojoPortal we always release a compatibility update for From Wizard Pro.

I don't see any purchase history on the account you are posting with here in the forums, to get the latest Form Wizard Pro, you'll need to login as the user who purchased it, then you can download the latest version from the order history tab under "My Account".

I'm not sure what version of mojoPortal or Form Wizard you are currently running but the error indicates they are not compatible because they depend on different versions of AjaxControlToolkit.

The link you posted for server information is a protected page, only members of allowed roles on your site can visit that page ie admins.

You can also find information about system requirements and release history of Form Wizard Pro on the Form Wizard Pro product page.

Hope that helps,

Joe

Thank you for the help. I'll talk to my developer since my boss is trying to get me to fix everything (even though I have limited experience with website hosting/development). I tried to install mojoPortal via Arvixe (my current host), though I don't know if that will solve everything.

Re: Website Errors

Tony,

Let me know if you run into further issues with your Arvixe install - I operate a number of mojoPortal sites there, and haven't had any issues with doing so.

Re: Website Errors

Thank you, Indigo. I want to try and install the latest version of MojoPortal onto my computer and install the Form Wizard. Though I need to download the site files onto my computer first I believe.

Re: Website Errors

Tony,

How did you initially install your mojoPortal instance - from a local version, or from WebDeploy?

Re: Website Errors

Indigo,

Someone else originally developed and installed the website on his computer.

He's busy right now, so I need to download the latest version of MojoPortal, the files from the following website (http://www.parentjobnet.org), and update the Form Wizard to get rid of some bothersome errors we are receiving on our registration forms.

Unfortunately, I am thrown into the fire with perhaps little help as I do not have experience installing MojoPortal and I need to get this project done before September.

Re: Website Errors

We'll get you going on the right path. Do you have control panel access to the Arvixe site, as well as FTP access? And will you be compiling from source, or the pre-prepared deployment files? I'm asking these questions so that I can describe all the steps you'll need in the proper order. If you can also describe your local environment, I can be sure that my instructions are tailored to your situation.
