Site backup of child site

When posting in this forum, please try to provide as many relevant details as possible. Particularly the following:

  • What operating system were you running when the bug appeared?
  • What database platform is your site using?
  • What version of mojoPortal are you running?
  • What version of .NET do you use?
  • What steps are necessary to reproduce the issue? Compare expected results vs actual results.

You may also want to review the installation or upgrading documentation.

Site backup of child site

Hi,

I created child site within my site by using folders. i want to host the child site on different server. I copied all the files but unable to take database backup of child site. help us to resolve the issue.

All the data for all sites is in the same database. If you can't get a backup of the database I have no solution for you. That is something people need to understand before they choose to host multiple sites in one installation.

I don't really recommend hosting multiple customers in one installation but some people do it, it is a business decision they are free to make. Myself I would only host multiple sites for the same customer in a single installation for this very reason that the data is all in one db.
