WYSIWYG does not work in IE9

I have version 2.3.8.5 and when using IE9 the WYSIWYG editor will not display correctly and fails to function, no icons are visible.  FireFox works great as usual.

I am using consolidated CSS if that makes a difference.

thanks in advance

Re: WYSIWYG does not work in IE9

I would use IE dev tools to look for any script errors or other clues. You did not mention which editor you are using CKeditor or TinyMCE.

Are you having the problem on just one feature or one page or it happens everywhere the editor is used?

I'm not seeing any problems with IE 9 in my testing.

Re: WYSIWYG does not work in IE9

Thanks Joe, I narrowed it down to this and maybe it will help others:

I am using TinyMCE

I am using a menu system called OPENCUBE nodefire and this is a great menu maker which I have been using it for years.  In this situation there is a bug in their menu as I have two advanced drop/slide menus on the same page (left and top).  With one menu on the page IE9 TinyMCE will function fine, but include the second menu and then it breaks TinyMCE.

They have just released a patch so I am going to give that a shot and see what happens.

thanks as always :-)
