We don't currently have a feature, though it would be fairly easy for any developer to implement their own feature based on the hello world example and the notes about the Nivo control in this blog post.

I have added an option for using Nivo slider in the included Image Gallery feature for the next release. The only downside of Nivo is that all the images must be the same size and the width must be known so we can configure Nivo. But there is nothing we can do to prevent people from trying to use it with mixed size images which probably won't work well, so I'm hoping that doesn't become a support issue now that I've enabled it in the Image Gallery and that is the reason I haven't been inclined to make it into a feature of its own. From my point of view its best use is really in layout.master and added by a tech savvy user who understands its capabilities and limitations.
