Hi,
I wanted to create a page that will contain some images with links, kind of like a rotating banner.
An example would be something similar to this site: http://www.maxis.com.my/main.asp
It would only apply to one page, so i assume that I would have to create a page with HTML content?
I'm not sure how I should go about it = not even sure what to look up in google.
any pointers would be much appreciated.

There are lots of ways to do that. The easiest is to use the built in settings of the Html Content feature to make a slide show of the top level html elements, the elements can be images or even paragraphs.
