Multiple master templates within a site

Hi Joe,

How are you? My name is Jirasak.
I am very new to mojoPortal and want to become master at it. I have worked with other CMS such as Sitefinity.
I would like to ask you how I can have more than one templates, master pages, within a site?
Ideally, the home page will have its own layout and is different from the other inner pages. Also the gallery page may use different template from the others 2, home and inner templates.
At the moment, I can see a layout.master is the only template sitting in the /Data/Sites/[ID]/Skin/Skin name folder.

Can you please tell me where I should look for the answers.

Regards,

Jirasak R

Re: Multiple master templates within a site

Hi Jirasak,

You can use multiple skins (templates) by enabling the "Allow Setting Skin for Page" option in the Site Settings. Once you do this, you can change the skin for any page in your site. If the layout is all that is changing, I suggest reading the "One Set of CSS for Multiple Skins" section of the "Understanding The Style.Config File" document.

Hope this helps,
Joe D.

Re: Multiple master templates within a site

Hi Jirasak, in Administration, Site Settings, turn on "Allow Setting Skin for Page". Then the site skin will default on all pages, but you can override that on a a per-page basis.
