mojoportal 2.3.8.1 localization problem

Hi

I've been using mojoportal for long time. I never had problems with localization.

Always during the installation mojo used the Resources for the user's preferred language in my case it always was Polish (as you write in http://www.mojoportal.com/localization.aspx).

After installation I created a child site, set UseCultureOverride to true and add

<add key="site1culture" value="pl-PL">
<add key="site2culture" value="en-US">

(learn it from here http://www.mojoportal.com/forcing-a-specific-language)

for multilingual i used UseFoldersInsteadOfHostnamesForMultipleSites set to true.

And it always work perfectly up to now. :)

When I installed mojo 2.3.8.1 I had only one language English.

I try to force localization of Site 1 to Polish, for test even to French or Dutch but works only English.

I installed it 4 times with different browsers (every of them have browser language preferences set to Polish).

But everytime only language i get is English.

I would like to add that I upgraded my other earlier mojo installations  to version 2.3.8.1 and localization works ok.

Please help.

Best,

Marcin

Re: mojoportal 2.3.8.1 localization problem

Hi Marcin,

Please see the release notes for version 2.3.8.1, we moved additional language resource files into a separate download, you just need to download the extra file and add the languages you want to the App_GlobalResources folder.

Hope that helps,

Joe

Re: mojoportal 2.3.8.1 localization problem

Hi Joe,

I do not know how I missed it :(.

I added resource files and it solved my problem.

Thanks,

Marcin
