Blog is using two different comment systems

Hi,

I've set up a test site with a blog and two blog entries and used the internal comment system. After playing with it for a few days I left a test comment on one of the posts. I then changed the commenting system to Disqus to try it out. The post without the comment changed over to Disqus but the post with the comment did not.The post with the comment is also no longer showing "Comments (1)" on the main blog page.

Do I have to delete the comment from the database?

Hi Rob,

Yes, if you want all the posts to use Disqus you should re-enable the internal Comment system and delete the comments. It was designed this way because we had the internal comment system for many years before we added support for Disqus and IntenseDebate and we didn't want to lose all the comment history from the internal system by changing to use an external comment system for new posts.
