How do you change the "Thank You" text on the contact form?

Hello,

I have a user who would like the "Thank You" text on the contact for to be changed.  After submitting it says: "Thank You!  Your message has been recieved".  I've looked through the solution and have looked through the forums but had no luck in finding the location of this text.  I'd greatly appreciate the help in locating this text to change.

Thanks!

Re: How do you change the "Thank You" text on the contact form?

Hi Tyler,

It comes from a resource file so it can be localized. Right now the only way to customize it would be to edit the /App_GlobalResources/ContactFormResources.resx file

but customizations there would be lost on upgrades when the file is replaced so there would be some maintenance.

For a fancier contact form, my Form Wizard Pro product could be used and it supports custom thank you messages.

Best,

Joe

Thanks Joe,

We did actually purchase your Form Wizard Pro, so I will work with the user to change out their regular contact for for a fancier Form Wizard Pro version.  That way we won't have to maintain it in future upgrades!  Thanks again for the help!

Re: How do you change the "Thank You" text on the contact form?

Hi Joe,

I also wanted to change the text on the contact form which I did successfully through the resource file as you described however the 'subject' label will not update. I changed the text exactly the same way as I did for the other fields but for some reason that field doesnt want to update?

Have you any idea why this would be?

Thanks

Damian
