No Registration Agreement Option Under Administraion

I'm trying to add some text to the preamble on the registration page. However, I don't see an option for "Registration Agreement" under the Administration Menu. Do I need to upgrade mojoPortal by any chance? My mojoPortal version is 2.3.4.1

Re: No Registration Agreement Option Under Administraion

Oh alright, another question. About my site: (http://www.parentjobnet.org), how do I change the title of "Register" to "Sign Up" at the top?

Re: No Registration Agreement Option Under Administraion

Hi Tony,

In your layout.master file find this:

<portal:RegisterLink ID="RegisterLink" runat="server" RenderAsListItem="true" />

and change it like this:

<portal:RegisterLink ID="RegisterLink" runat="server" RenderAsListItem="true" OverrideText="Sign Up" />

though I'm not sure which version we added the OverrideText property so it may also require upgrading for that to work.

Hope that helps,

Joe

Re: No Registration Agreement Option Under Administraion

Hi Joe, we should probably add this information to the Understanding the Layout.master File document. For some reason I don't have edit access to the HTML module on the page, although I can get to page settings. Maybe another case of Administrator being checked?

Hi Jamie,

Good point. I've updated the permissions so you should be able to edit.

Thanks,

Joe

Hmmm, it didn't work. I added the Override text to that line and uploaded the layout.Master file. It still says "Register".  I guess that means I may need to upgrade.
