Artisteer 2.4 Skin problem

Hi,

I recently had an issue on our server and have had to rebuild it (don't ask - backups failed). I was able to copy off individual files off the failed server so took off db, skins, images, etc and got everything working locally on a laptop. I'm not sure what version I had on the server, but it was from about march this year. On the laptop I installed Version 2.3.6.7 MSSQL and got everything running using the existing Db, except I had a problem with a horizontal menu in an artisteer 2.4 skin. Here, everything worked OK except the icon for the menus did not appear. As the images were copied from the server I suspected a permissions issue and resolved the issue by copying the skin to the master skins folder, creating a new site and copying the site content from the new site to the sites loaded during setup from the existing db.

However, when I came to rebuild the server, I saw the same issue however this time I have been unable to get the menu button image to display. Following the same steps that I used on the laptop has not solved the issue on the server. Can you give any advice on fixing this? Server details are below

mojoPortal Version 2.3.6.7 MSSQL
Operating System Microsoft Windows NT 5.2.3790 Service Pack 2
ASP.NET Info v4.0.30319 Running in Full Trust
Server Time Zone W. Europe Daylight Time
Server Local Time (GMT 2) 22/08/2011 12:53:55
Greenwich Mean Time (GMT/UTC) 22/08/2011 10:53:56

Thanks,

Paul

Re: Artisteer 2.4 Skin problem

Hi Paul,

I would recommend reviewing the Important Skin Changes sticky thread, and try to figure out which things are needed. Reviewing our release history may help you figure out what your previous version was.

Hope that helps,

Joe
