Installation failed

Hi,

To be honest, I am sad for my installation.

My OS: Windows 7 64-bit. Database: SQL Server 2008 R2 Developer Edition. The latest version of mojoportal( I guess)

I used "Web Platform Installer 3.0" to deploy the web site automatelly, after everything was done. I typed the address in IE browser "http://localhost:80/". It becomes "http://localhost/" ---an IIS default welcome web page.

Just feel frustration for almost one week. What is the best way to install it? My IIS is IIS 7.

Thanks for help.

Re: Installation failed

by default the platform installer is going to install it at http://localhost/mojoportal to install it directly at localhost would have required you changing it from the pre-set option during installation.

See also Manual Installation Recipe for IIS 7.x and .NET 4

Hope that helps,

Joe

Re: Installation failed

Okay. When I typed the address http://localhost/mojoportal

It is successful then running a bunch of script core etc. The address becomes: http://localhost/mojoportal/Setup/Default.aspx

The version is 2.3.6.7
