allow users to register on this site option is not working

Hello everyone!

it seems to be a bug. I have installed (new installation) the latest available version of mojoportal.

I am trying to disable the option regarding the possibility for user to register himself on the site. This option will be enabled again when ready (privacy policy and availability of services).

I keep the check off from that option in order to disable this opportunity and than I click on the button below to save my new settings.

After the click, the page shows a warning triangle on the bottom left saying there are few mistakes on the page.

Re: allow users to register on this site option is not working

Hi,

When did you download the latest version? Version 2.3.6.7 was patched on July 20 to fix a few things, you may need to download it again. I cannot replicate the problem using the latest version.

Hope that helps,

Joe

Re: allow users to register on this site option is not working

Hello Joe,

I am happy! I have downloaded on July the 18th and installed the very same day. Since then I have edited most of the text of the web site....

May I simply delete (delete and replace with new ones) all non configuration files (FileZilla) and hope it will go on working?

Re: allow users to register on this site option is not working

Hi Alex,

As I noted on the codeplex download page, only a few files changes so you don't need to upload everything again, just these:

/bin/mojoPortal.Web.dll
/bin/mojoPortal.Features.UI.dll
/bin/mojoPortal.Net.dll
/ContactForm/MessageListDialog.aspx
/ClientScript/jqmojo/jquery.layout.min.js

Hope that helps,

Joe

Re: allow users to register on this site option is not working

Hi Joe,

I patched the portal with the files provided. It seems working fine. Also the problem I encountered these days have been resolved.

(so far so good...)

Thank you again for your kind help!

Alex
