I have a scenario where I'd like one "power user" to be able to assign other registered users to roles. For example, only some registered users will be allowed to create blog posts.
I don't want this power user to be full admin, but I don't want him to have to come back to me every time either!
I see this was discussed back in 2007 in this forum exchange and at that time Joe said there may be a solution in the pipeline...?

Add the user to the Role Administrators role and they will be able to add users to an role except the Administrators role.
