Blog and SEO

Anyone want to share views on SEO and the blogs within mojoportal.

So I've set up a blog and before I go too far and have too many posts I want to make sure that my strategy for promoting the blog is as effective as possible.

My initial blogs has a fairly unfriendly URL name http://www.acvita.com/blog285rss.aspx, I have copied this into feedburner and have a new feed URL, I also have set up several labels for these blogs. So my questions related to SEO and the blogs are:

Can the blog have a friendlier name than blog285rss.aspx?

Why use feedburner? surely as the feed is renamed http://feeds.feedburner.com/acvita/FixO the SEO credits go to feedburner instead. (OK this is not really a mojoportal question)

Do the mojoportal blog labels work in the same way as tags? i.e. Do the labels have a big influence in SEO in deciding what the content of the blog is, or would it be better to set up individual blogs per topic.

Any other links to key SEO blog posting for Mojoportal would be great.

I haven't found the solution to this but an answer for the feeds in the blog is here

I think thta the case is that these tags/ labels do help and act as labels for SEO
