Hello,
I have installed IIS7 on a win server 08 to host a single website. now, whever I open IIS from Administrative tools, it hangs saying connecting to local host...., connecting to server...., connecting to application. I left it for 10 mins and it responded back to normal. I wonder what is causing this problem as its very annoying to work with.

I've never seen that problem and have no idea but can only guess something is funky about your IIS configuration.
