When posting in this forum, please try to provide as many relevant details as possible. Particularly the following:

  • What operating system were you running when the bug appeared?
  • What database platform is your site using?
  • What version of mojoPortal are you running?
  • What version of .NET do you use?
  • What steps are necessary to reproduce the issue? Compare expected results vs actual results.

You may also want to review the installation or upgrading documentation.

Installing mojoPortal Using The Web Platform Installer

 

First Install the Web Platform Installer 3.0 from here:                                               ok

http://www.microsoft.com/web/platform/default.aspx                                               ok

Next launch open IIS 7.x Management Console                                                        ok

and click on the web site where you want to install mojoPortal,                                  ok

 

then double click the icon for the Web Platform Installer.                         which icon?    in IIS Msnager???  I can't create the first image !!!!

After installing the Web Platform Installer you may need to close IIS and then open it again before the icon appears.

See this screen shot, site "test" is selected and in the bottom right corner you see the icon for the Web Platform Installer.
