Content Workflow and mojoPortal 2.3.6.4

We recently installed mojoPortal 2.3.6.4. We had a previous installation (mojoPortal 2.3.5.8) where we had content workflow working. I can't seem to get it working in the new installation. I have done the following:

1) Checked the "Enable Content Workflow"

2) Created a page with HTML Content feature

3) Set the permission on the page to have the Administrator group (this is was the account I was testing with) to be a "Roles that can only edit this page as draft"

When I edit the feature, I only have the "Update" button, where I was expecting to also have an "Update Draft" button. Even if I explicitedly set the page to be a draft in the page setting, that doesn't change things.

I also noticed that the EnableContentWorkflow key is no longer in the web.config file. I've added it and set it true as described on this page, but that doesn't seem to work.

Did something change in the recent versions with the content workflow?

Oh shoot, I can confirm is a problem here as well. There is no option to save draft when editing HTML instances, although "Enable Content Workflow" is checked for the site.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the bug report.

I was able to verify this bug and fix it. I've patched the 2.3.6.4 release, so if you download it again and replace the /bin/mojoPortal.Web.dll with the new one it should fix this problem. It is also fixed in the source code repository.

Note however, that the Administrators role is a special system role that can do anything, you cannot limit this role to draft edit permissions, you should use custom roles to limit users to draft permissions.
