multi-language site issues

Hi,

I have been going nuts attempting to get a multi-language site operational using the browsers language settings. Two sites have been created using the details available in the documentation and from reading almost every forum message. The setup is a single installation of mojo and the and site has been created based on a folder with an empty Default.aspx

So what I have for sites :

Site 1 : Default Site

Site 2 : French Language Site

Everything works great as long a a user specifies the "fr/Default.aspx" when accessing the site as a French user. If a user just enteres http://www.site.com they are not forwarded to the http://www.site.com/fr/Default.aspx.

What have I done wrong?

Can the CMS not automatically forward the user to the specific language site?

Re: multi-language site issues

no it does not redirect based on the user's browser language, if you want to do that you could write a custom http module.

My recommendation is put a french flag on your site that links to the french version and make no assumptions about which language the user wants to view your site in.
