Error 500.19

Hello!
Read similar themes, but while did not find a decision.

windows server 2008 64 + MS SQL 2008 express
pool  ASP.NET v4.0

mojoportal-2-3-5-5-mssql 4 net

HTTP 500.19 - Internal Server Error

 1013:   </system.webServer>
 1014:   <system.web.extensions>
 1015:   <scripting>

Interesting situation.
Version 3.5, on the same pool ASP.NET v4.0 - set normally.

I trust use Web.mediumtrust.config

All the same :)

Re: Error 500.19

I would start with Basic Troubleshooting and see about getting more error detail.

Note that you cannot run any 3.5 .NET apps in the same application pool as a .NET 4 app or it would cause an error. And you must use a .NET 4 application pool to run a .NET 4 app, that is what makes it use the .NET 4 framework.

Re: Error 500.19

In a folder DATA there is not a file currentlog.config.

Alike problem by access to the folder.

Although strange, at NETWORK SERVICE has all rights.

Re: Error 500.19

if the error is severe enough that it cannot run the site at all then it also cannot log errors, but the error would be in the windows application log

also, the user that needs permissions is the user that is the identity on the application pool which may be NETWORK SERVICE but also may not be, you can change it to NETWORK SERVICE, if it is not already set to that.
